Holographic measurement and quantum teleportation in the SYK thermofield double

A bstract According to holography, entanglement is the building block of spacetime; therefore, drastic changes will lead interesting transitions in dual spacetime. In this paper, we study effect projective measurements on Sachdev-Ye-Kitaev (SYK) model’s thermofield double state, an eternal black hole Jackiw-Teitelboim (JT) gravity. We calculate (Renyi-2) mutual information between two copies SYK model upon measurement a subset fermions one copy. propose JT gravity that can account for change due measurement, and observe wedge phase transition von Neumann entropy. The unmeasured side from region outside horizon include entire time reversal invariant slice two-sided geometry as number measured Majorana increases. Therefore, after transition, bulk stored subsystem not entirely lost projection copy model, but rather teleported other further decoding protocol elucidate teleportation interpretation, connect our analysis physics traversable wormholes.
